Work
Domed full-colour badges carrying the ministry crest, national colours, each member of staff's name and their role.
In a clinic, the badge is how a patient knows whether they are speaking to a nurse aide, a general hand or a registered nurse. It has to state the role as plainly as the name.
Every badge in the batch is set from a single layout, so the crest, the colour band and the type all sit in the same place on each one. Only the name and role change. A replacement badge issued later comes off the same layout and is indistinguishable from the rest.
The print is sealed under a clear domed coating. It is what stops a badge that is worn every day, cleaned constantly and knocked against furniture from becoming unreadable within a year.
